I don’t know. ‘07 was surprisingly great for rap music, but I wonder if the industry didn’t shoot it’s proverbial load on fourth quarter madness this year. I am racking my brain here for forthcoming joints but this is all I can come up with. And half of them will probably be delayed until 2010. I can’t even pretend to care about something like Rick Ross. Refresh my memory if you can.

1. Lil Wayne - The Carter 3 (Cash Money/Universal)
2. Big Boi - Sir Luscious Left Foot (Jive)
3. Bun B - 2 Trill (Rap-a-Lot/Asylum)
4. B.O.B. - TBA (Rebel Rock/Atlantic)
5. Clipse - TBA (Re-Up/Columbia)
6. Young Dro - The Young & The Restless (Grand Hustle/Atlantic
7. Prodigy - HNIC2 (Koch)
8. Peedi Crakk - Prince Of The Roc (Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam)*
9. Shawty Lo - Units In The City (D4L/Asylum)
10. ABN (Z-Ro & Trae) - It Is What It Is (Rap-A-Lot?)

A few more that could possibly be good if they might could maybe actually see a release but probably not: Andre 3000 (y’know, if he decides to rap), Big Kuntry King, Cool Kids, Cormega (The Inevitab[ly Delayed Again])*, Del (The 11th Hour - hey I’m intrigued), Dr. Dre (right), Dude N Nem (Tinted Incubators), E-40 (The Ball Street Journal), Fabo (Gik Music), The Fixxers - (Midnight Life), Killer Mike, KLC (The Drum Major)* Ludacris (Theatre of the Mind), Mistah FAB (Dah Yellow Bus Rydah), M.O.P.*, Murs (Murs For President), Nas (Something Shocking), Polow Da Don, Raekwon*, Re-Up Gang, Rich Boy (Tears of Joy), Slim Thug (Boss Of All Bosses), Three 6 Mafia (Last 2 Walk).

* Believe it or not, these releases were present on my Most Anticipated Rap Albums of 2006 list
