After being sentenced to twelve months at the Rose Singer Center for women in Rikers Island in New York, police were present as Foxy Brown was released on Friday, April 18th.

Immediately after being released form the prison, Brown changed her clothing and met up with her mother, Judith Marchand and lawyer, Charles Barron. She was also greeted with  tons of reporters and supporting fans. Some of whom even wore tee shirts saying “Free Foxy Brown” and carrying pink balloons.

Brown reportedly showed her diva side by sporting a leather jacket, designer shoes, a black shirt, jeans, and a Fendi designer doo rag over her head.  All of Brown’s friends an family also arrived in luxury vehicles. Including a number of Rolls Royces and SUVs.

While at the Rose Singer Center, Foxy Brown faced 76 days of punitive segregation after violating three of the center’s rules.

Brown is releasing a new album on May 13,  and is in talks for having a reality TV show on VH1.
